Regenerative medical treatments to improve your quality of life.
Regenerative medicine is focused on developing and applying new treatments to heal tissues and organs and restore function lost due to aging, disease, damage or defects.
Each treatment uses your own body’s natural healing ability, using regenerative cells and growth factors. Here at Resurgence Wellness, we use regenerative medical treatments and techniques designed to increase the quality of life for as long as we can.
OUR REGENERATIVE TREATMENTS INCLUDE:
- Peptide Therapy
- Platelet Rich Plasma
- Stem Cell Therapy
- Acoustic Wave Therapy
- Young Plasma
Peptides are short-chain amino acids found naturally in the body. Amino acids are the building blocks of protein and these particular amino acids are designed to augment specific functions within the human body.
Therapy with peptides uses those sequences already present to regulate and rejuvenate functions, replacing or mimicking the functions of naturally occurring peptides.
There are currently more than 60 different FDA approved peptides on the market proven to have benefits such as better sleep, increase in muscle mass, weight loss, increased sex drive, healthier joints, just to name a few.
Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP)
Originally used to accelerate the healing of injured tendons, ligaments, muscles and joints, PRP is also being used in popular facial treatments like the Vampire Facial and to help regenerate hair in men suffering from male pattern baldness.
The concept and treatment itself is basically the same regardless of the area we’re treating. We draw your blood and then use a centrifuge to separate out the platelet rich plasma (PRP) which is thought to be a natural healing substance. The PRP is then injected into the specific area being treated in order to stimulate the body’s own natural healing system.
The number of injections required depend on the goal of the treatment and the area being treated.
Stem Cell Therapy
Stem cells are certain types of cells that can serve as a repair system for the body by reducing inflammation and modulating the immune system. Immune system modulation, also called immunomodulation, involves the use of therapy to modify the immune response, often to prevent tissue damage resulting from an excessive response.
Stem cell therapy is a non-invasive procedure that promotes the repair response of diseased, dysfunctional or injured tissue using healthy stem cells or their derivatives. It’s become a viable treatment option for a variety of medical conditions.
It is important to note that it’s still considered an experimental medical procedure so it’s not yet covered by health insurance. Multiple financing options available.
Stem cell therapy has been used to treat:
- Autoimmune diseases
- Orthopedic conditions
- Traumatic injuries
The potential for other uses is being studied in a number of clinics across the globe.
While stem cell therapy isn’t considered a cure for these conditions, it can allow the body to health well enough for the symptoms to lessen for long periods of time which substantially increases quality of life.
Acoustic Wave Therapy
A noninvasive treatment that involves the delivery of shock waves to injured soft tissue to reduce pain and promote healing. It’s proven successful in treating chronic pain in joints, muscles and other painful injuries. After just a few treatments, you may see improvement in mobility, healing and pain management.
A different form of shock wave therapy is now being used to improve sexual wellness in both men and women.
YOUNG-PLASMA, which is collected from 18-25 year olds, has been proven to repair skeletal, vascular, muscular, major organ and cognitive deterioration associated with aging. Through this regenerative process, we’re able to take plasma from an 18-19 year old and administer it to someone with the same blood type and sex.
It’s been shown to delay or reverse the aging process, boost energy levels, speed up recoveries from injuries and reduce adrenal fatigue, in patients with autoimmune disorders.
