How it works:
Diolaze’s advanced laser hair removal treatment permanently destroys the roots of hair follicles to remove unwanted hair. With Diolaze, you can treat a large area in a short amount of time due to the technology’s large treatment area. The hair follicles are targeted with a diode laser beam during laser treatment. When the penetrating energy heats up the root of the hair, it destroys it and prevents future hair growth.
What to expect during your treatment:
Your skin type will be assessed during your first visit at Resurgence Wellness to determine the best laser settings. As you lay on a treatment bed, we will clean and apply a gel to the area to be treated. An area with unwanted hair will be treated with the Diolaze laser. As the laser penetrates through your skin to reach your hair follicles, the cooling tip cools your epidermis (outer layer). A topical cream will be applied to calm your skin after the laser has removed all unwanted hair.
When will I see results?
In general, you will not be able to see the final results of your treatment until several weeks or months after starting it. After treatment, most people notice initial results, such as hair falling out in treatment areas. As a result of continued treatments, hair growth will be temporarily stunted. It takes about four to six months after your first appointment for your final results to become visible.
How many sessions does it take to see results?
The frequency of your treatments will be about every four to six weeks to achieve the desired results. Doing so will also ensure that your skin has sufficient time to heal between treatments, making it easier for you to achieve the hair-free results you want.
