How it works:
The Morpheus8 microneedling treatment uses a new type of microneedling that produces better results than other types. Morpheus8 stimulates remodeling of the dermal adipose tissue. It is the only device that combines (RF) radiofrequency and microneedling technology, developed by InMode Aesthetics, a leading manufacturer of radiofrequency technology. When microneedling is performed alone, collagen proliferation increases in response to microneedling. Aside from collagen increase, Morpheus8 offers many other benefits. Injecting radiofrequency energy into tissue approximately 4mm deep causes thickening and tightening of the tissue.
What to expect during your treatment:
Resurgence Wellness places the highest value on patient safety, comfort, and achieving the best possible results. Therefore a thorough consultation is done prior to the Morpheus8 procedure. To ensure comfort, a local anesthetic and some oral relaxing medications will be administered on the day of the procedure. The procedure takes only about an hour to complete. Afterwards, we ask that patients have a responsible adult drive them home.
When will I see results?
It will be possible to see some tightening right away. About 3-6 months after treatment, new collagen and elastin begin to form, and the improvement continues for about a year.
How many sessions will I need?
A first treatment with Morpheus8 begins to stimulate change immediately. It is possible that patients will need two to four treatments, depending on their desired level of improvement. Our goal is to recommend only those treatments that will achieve the patient’s goals. In order to fully understand each person’s needs, we conduct a thorough consultation and skin assessment.
How much does it cost?
